Braun Strowman Out Six Months

The initial four to eight week projection timetable for Braun Strowman’s elbow injury had put a minor dent into WWE’s plans for the next couple of Pay-Per-View events.

Their hope would be Strowman could be back for the Great Balls of Fire event and possibly take on Brock Lesnar for the Universal title.

Now, it looks like if it would be a blessing if he can even come back for Survivor Series.

It was announced yesterday that Strowman’s surgery on his elbow determined there had been much more damage done than previously seen. His elbow had been completely shattered, making his recovery time go from a max of eight weeks to a max of six months.

With this injury, the Raw brand loses one of its biggest and rising stars for SummerSlam and possibly through the fall.

WWE rebounded quickly by putting together a fatal five way match at Extreme Rules to determine who will face Lesnar for the title, but this injury to Strowman is a huge blow for the brand and WWE as a whole.

Strowman has become a fan favorite heel after he had been booed heavily for months once he had been drafted to the Raw brand. His in-ring work improved drastically and so did his mic work.

One thing that hasn’t really been discussed is the fact this six month timetable could be fabricated to make Strowman look like a monster if he comes back in just two to three months.

Only time will tell if that is the case.
