Bulls Fire Fred Hoiberg

The rebuilding Chicago Bulls appear to be heading in a different direction once again.

After dismantling the team over the past few seasons for a complete rebuild, the team has fired coach Fred Hoiberg after a horrific 5-19 start to the season.

The Bulls were not expected to compete this season even with rising stars Zach LaVine, Wendell Carter Jr. and Kris Dunn leading the charge. However, Bulls brass must not have liked in terms of the overall direction from Hoiberg, hence the firing on Monday morning. Jim Boylen will serve as the interim head coach.

Hoiberg had a 115-155 record in his three-plus seasons as Bulls head coach.
