Dave Meltzer is reporting that Daniel Bryan and World Wrestling Entertainment have agreed upon a new multi-year deal with one of it if not the most popular superstars in the company. Pro Wrestling Sheet confirmed the news today.

Many WWE fans were keeping an eye on the Bryan situation since it had been known once his contract was over, he had interest of potentially going elsewhere. With names such as Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes achieving astounding success out of WWE recently, the buzz continued to grow stronger in regards to Bryan’s possible departure.

Instead, Bryan will be returning to the WWE, much to the delight of the WWE Universe.

Bryan returned to in-ring action at this past year’s WrestleMania, teaming with Shane McMahon to defeat Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn after nearly three years of being out of action. He changed his move set a bit to avoid risky bumps that could further damage his neck and so far it has worked out for him.

An eye still needs to be kept on Bryan in regards to those injury risks, but so many in the WWE Universe are just glad that Bryan is staying on board for years to come.
