INVICTA FC 24 was back at the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City Missouri, and it didn’t disappoint. Well;…… sort of. MILANA DUDIEVA was dropped by the UFC after back-to-back loses to JULIANNA PENA and MARION RENEAU. She along with MARA “KUNOICHICI” ROMERO BORELLA were making their Invicta debuts. Milana started strong pressing the action and eventually locked in a very weak guillotine. Then Mara started to come alive after a take down then landed some GNP. From that point on she was in total control despite Dudieva attempting a triangle from the bottom. Shockingly when it went to the score cards; it was just a split decision win for Mara and not a unanimous one. The co-main event was a high energy high stakes game of chess between ASHLEY CUMMINS and JIINH YU FREY. Ashley was like a pitbull zeroed in on Frey’s arms, with multiple arm bar attempts.

But she was able to escape each one and then land some of her own punishment. She was also able to take Ashley down consistently throughout. That helped Jinh edge Cummins out by unanimous decision.  PAM “BAM” SORENSON was able to submit her opponent; HELENA KOLESNYK by arm bar 3:12 into the fight. KARINA RODRIQUEZ bested BARBARA ACIOLY by TKO (punches) 2:14 of round 1.  GABBY ROMERO dropped a unanimous decision to impressive and highly touted 20 year old prospect MIRANDA MAVERICKSUNNA RANNVEIG DAVIDSDOTT  scored a unanimous decision victory over KELLY D’ANGELOAMY COLEMAN got merked by FELICIA SPENCER as she tapped to a RNC 3:17 into round 1.
