AARON PICO came into MMA with lots of serious hype around him. And why not he technically is the definition of a young phenom. He dropped his debut at MSG via tapout in the 1st round to ZACH FREEMAN. He then went on to KO Justin Linn in the 1st round and he did it again last night. This time to former US Marine and Purple Heart winner SHANE KRUCHTEN. This one coming just 37 seconds into the fight.

Set up by a nice right kick that left hand to the body is guaranteed to be KO of the year discussions and its only still January. Proving so far for Aaron that movie up from bantamweight to featherweight was the right move as he grows into his body. Who knows? Maybe he’ll be a lightweight one day. Speaking of lightweights; one of the best with the biggest heart in the game is MICHAEL CHANDLER.   “IRON” has teased he doesn’t care about BRENT PRIMUS, or the lightweight title anymore and that he’d like to go up to welterweight. He spent 3 rounds pounding away on GOITI YAMAUCHI and picked up a unanimous decision. Goiti proved Chandler may use the moniker “Iron”; but his heart and jaw are “iron” as well.

HENRY CORRALES beat GEORGI KARAKHANYAN via unanimous decision. Former standout wrestler JOEY DAVIS thanks to a spinning back kick 39 seconds into his fight with IAN BUTLER picked up a huge TKO win. That too will most likely get some attention in December for KO of the year. ROYCE GRACIE’s son KHONRY GRACIE dropped his pro debut to DEVIN BROCK via unanimous decision. After suffering a bad loss at MSG; HAIM GOZALI came up a little short againbeing edged out in a decision to JOSE CAMPOSJEAN-PAUL LE-BOSNOYANI got ISAIAH CULPEPPER   to tap to an armbar 2:11 of the 3rd round. IVAN CASTILLO tapped to a triangle 4:12 into round 1 from GUILLHERME VASCONELOSJOHNNY CISNEROS locked a RNC on MARLEN MAGEE 2:28 into round 3 when he tapped.
