KEVIN AGUILAR; the LFA featherweight champion moved up to 155 for his crack at a UFC contract. He was doing it on short notice and taking on a very tough JOEY GOMEZ. For most of the 15 minutes they played rock em sock em robots as they busted each other wide open. By the 3rd the pace was still high but somewhat slowed. Kevin was able to do just a bit more and picked up his 7th straight win; this one by split decision. But it wasn’t enough to snag a contract.

BEVON LEWIS; on the show for a 2nd time truly impressed KO’ing ALTON CUNNINGHAM 3:01 into round 1. Bevon kept coming forward as the pair threw hands and elbows in a phone booth. A knee right up the middle put Alton on the mat. A right elbow, left knee, and a flurry of rights spelled the end. That action got him a UFC offer.

TOBY MISECH came out more aggressive than RICKY PALACIOS as the pair traded kicks through out the fight. However, it was Ricky’s counter strikes that helped get him a unanimous decision.  JORDAN ESPINOSA was the other to pick up a contract his second time on the show as well. He got it after TKO’ing RILEY DUTRO with 2 seconds left. Jordan got a quick takedown and attempted to no avail a RNC. Riley started to come on strong but Espinosa got a 2nd wind and dropped his opponent with a left hook. He followed that up with multiple rights. Jordan was able to keep the pressure so high he dropped Dutro a couple of times in the 3rd till referee MARK SMITH stopped it. The night opened with 23 year old former sparring partner of MICHAEL BISPING and RDAJALIN TURNER up against MAX MUSTAKI. Jalin everything he had hard and early; rocking Max. A power left hand busted open Max’s nose. He was then assaulted with knees and kicks from every angle. Once Mustaki was on his back he tried a heel hook; but couldn’t secure it. Max was on 1 leg as he had a nice exchange till the horn. That’s when the cageside doctors saw Max’s foot was too swollen for the fight to continue. They awarded Jalin a TKO. It was his 7th 1st round finish. Although he didn’t receive a contract DANA WHITE said he wants to keep a close eye on him.
