TYRON WOODLEY came forward fast looking to engage DARREN TILL. The pair locked in a clinch along the fence a couple of times; landing knees, and twice referee DAN MIRAGLIOTTA separated them. Darren’s takedown defense was solid. But for more than a round “THE CHOSEN ONE” connected when he threw hands. In the second round the champ landed a straight right putting the 25 year old Till on the mat. T-Wood went down after him landing a serious flurry of short elbow and punches which opened a cut on the Englishman’s forehead. Darren got Tyron in his guard but still landed the GNP. With Darren squirming Woodley locked in a D’Arce choke that Till had to tap out of at 4:19. Tyron then received his BJJ black belt from his coach DIN THOMAS. Immediately on social media COLBY COVINGTON was on the attack saying he wants the champ at MSG on November 3rd. As of now; DANA WHITE says that Colby will be next for a title shot. JESSICA ANDRADE laid claim that she should be next in line for a strawweight title fight. She blitzed KAROLINA KOWALKIEWICZ, who somehow stayed upright; for a minute. Karolina actually after the initial WANDERLEI SILVA-ESQUE storm and fired her own shots; but they had little if anything on them. Jessica had her reeling when she threw a left then a right hook which put out Karolina’s lights at the 1:58 mark of the fight for the KO.

BRANDON DAVIS really had nothing to lose, taking a very short notice fight vs the red hot ZABIT MAGOMEDSHARIPOV. As a matter of fact he was so loose, he stung Zabit, and had his lead leg getting red from kicks. Eventually Zabit who was wearing Brandon down was able to get a couple of takedowns, and worked back control. Zabit tried locking in a RNC to no avail, but soon enough locked in a kneebar. It forced Brandon to tap at 3:46 into round 2. It was his 13th finish and puts him on a 12 fight win streak. He then called out CHAD MENDESJIMMIE RIVERA now has a good argument he should be the next for TJ DILLASHAW. He cracked JOHN DODSON with low leg kicks that had him limping early on. Rivera kept an in your face pressure pace for 3 rounds while John tried countering. There was very little doubt Jimmie was going to win a unanimous decision. Right from the word “fight”NIKO PRICE and ABDUL RAZAK ALHASAN went into rock em sock em mode near the fence. Niko slipped and as he got up was greeted with a left hook-right-left hook as Abdul was teeing off on “THE HYBRID”. Alhasan dropped Price for good just 43 seconds into the fight. All 10 of his wins are 1st round KO/TKO.

TATIANA SUAREZ improved to 8-0 as the 27 year old just smashed and mauled CARLA ESPARZA. The fight very easily could have been ended earlier but Carla was hanging on. The GNP came from top and side control as a ripped short elbows and hammerfists that put a massive mouse under Esparza’s right eye. Tatiana took her down 8 times and outstruck her 81-0 in significant strikes. The TKO came with just 27 seconds left in the fight. ALJAMAIN STERLING got taken down a couple of times by  rival CODY STAMANN. But he seemed to do better from his back attempting submissions. When he managed takedowns he lit Cody up with elbows. Rolling through Aljamain managed to lock up his leg; and finished Cody with a kneebar 3:42 into round 2.

Hometown hero; GEOFF NEAL slugged it out with FRANK CAMACHO who was rattled a couple of times but kept coming forward. Frank’s face was busted open when he was set up for the finish; a left head kick that put Camacho out cold 1:23 of round 2 for the KO. DARREN STEWART was getting beat by CHARLES BYRD when he got a little careless. Darren connected with 2 elbows and a left that sent “KID DYNAMITE”  to the mat 2:17 of round 2. DIEGO SANCHEZ proved he still has a little left in the tank after beating CRAIG WHITE by unanimous decision. JIM MILLER in his 42nd career fight set a UFC record in his 30th. He also ended a 4 fight losing streak by getting ALEX WHITE to tap to a RNC 89 seconds into the fight. And the 1st two fights of the night ended in odd split decisions. IRENE ALDANA over LUCIE PUDILOVA and JARRED BROOKS over ROBERTO SANCHEZ.
